Freddi
Our journey began in 1949 with Luigi Freddi, a man full of passion and enthusiasm. He opened the first bakery in the charming town of Castiglione Stiviera, located in the beautiful Lake Garda region. Luigi personally delivered his delicious cakes to shops, pastry chefs, and hotels, making everyone happy with his sweet creations.
In 1959, the demand for his delicacies grew so rapidly that the small bakery was no longer sufficient. Luigi decided to move to larger premises and transformed his modest bakery into a thriving industrial enterprise.
Ten years later, in 1969, Freddi needed an even larger facility to keep up with the growth. We introduced one of the first automated snack packaging lines in Italy, which enabled us to distribute our treats throughout the country.
In 1979, we took the step into international markets. Our unique Italian cakes found their way to France, Germany, Spain, and the Middle East, allowing us to spread our delicious products further.
